ഒന്നാം മനുഷ്യനായ ആദാം ജീവനുള്ള ദേഹിയായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നെഴുതിയുമിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ, ഒടുക്കത്തെ ആദാം ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ആത്മാവായി. എന്നാൽ ആത്മികമല്ല പ്രാകൃതമത്രേ ഒന്നാമത്തേതു; ആത്മികം പിന്നത്തേതിൽ വരുന്നു. ഒന്നാം മനുഷ്യൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്നു മണ്ണു കൊണ്ടുള്ളവൻ; രണ്ടാം മനുഷ്യൻ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവൻ. മണ്ണു കൊണ്ടുള്ളവനെപ്പോലെ മണ്ണു കൊണ്ടുള്ളവരും സ്വർഗ്ഗീയനെ പോലെ സ്വർഗ്ഗീയന്മാരും ആകുന്നു; നാം മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവൻ്റെ പ്രതിമ ധരിച്ചതുപോലെ സ്വർഗ്ഗീയൻ്റെ പ്രതിമയും ധരിക്കും.
സഹോദരന്മാരേ, മാംസരക്തങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കുവാൻ കഴികയില്ല, ദ്രവത്വം അദ്രവത്വത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കുകയുമില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു. ഞാൻ ഒരു മർമ്മം നിങ്ങളോടു പറയാം: നാം എല്ലാവരും നിദ്രകൊള്ളുകയില്ല; എന്നാൽ അന്ത്യകാഹളനാദത്തിങ്കൽ പെട്ടെന്നു കണ്ണിമെക്കുന്നിടയിൽ നാം എല്ലാവരും രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടും. കാഹളം ധ്വനിക്കും, മരിച്ചവർ അക്ഷയരായി ഉയിർക്കുകയും നാം രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എന്നു പറയുന്ന സദൂക്യരിൽ ചിലർ അടുത്തു വന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചതു: ഗുരോ, ഒരുത്തൻ്റെ സഹോദരൻ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചിട്ടു മക്കളില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ അവൻ്റെ സഹോദരൻ അവൻ്റെ ഭാര്യയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു(ദേവരവിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു) സഹോദരന്നു സന്തതിയെ ജനിപ്പിക്കേണം എന്നു മോശെ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ഏഴു സഹോദരന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവരിൽ ഒന്നാമത്തവൻ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു മക്കളില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചുപോയി. രണ്ടാമത്തവനും മൂന്നാമത്തവനും അവളെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു. അവ്വണ്ണം ഏഴുപേരും ചെയ്തു മക്കളില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചുപോയി. ഒടുവിൽ സ്ത്രീയും മരിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിൽ അവൾ അവരിൽ ഏവന്നു ഭാര്യയാകും? ഏഴുവർക്കും ഭാര്യയായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ

നോഹയുടെ കാലത്തു സംഭവിച്ചതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ്റെ നാളിലും ഉണ്ടാകും. നോഹ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കടന്ന നാൾവരെ അവർ തിന്നും കുടിച്ചും വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചും വിവാഹത്തിന്നു കൊടുത്തും പോന്നു; ജലപ്രളയം വന്നു, അവരെ എല്ലാവരെയും മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു. ലോത്തിൻ്റെ കാലത്തു സംഭവിച്ചതുപോലെയും തന്നേ; അവർ തിന്നും കുടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടും വിറ്റും നട്ടും പണിതും പോന്നു. എന്നാൽ ലോത്ത് സൊദോം വിട്ട നാളിൽ ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു തീയും ഗന്ധകവും പെയ്തു എല്ലാവരെയും മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ വെളിപ്പെടുന്ന നാളിൽ അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ ആകും. അന്നു വീട്ടിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തുള്ള സാധനം എടുപ്പാൻ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു; അവ്വണം വയലിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനും പിന്നോക്കം തിരിയരുതു. ലോത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാര്യയെ ഓർത്തുകൊൾവിൻ. തൻ്റെ ജീവനെ നേടുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം അതിനെ കളയും; അതിനെ കളയുന്നവനെല്ലാം അതിനെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
ആ രാത്രിയിൽ രണ്ടുപേർ ഒരു കിടക്കമേൽ ആയിരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും. രണ്ടുപേർ ഒന്നിച്ചു പൊടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തിയെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവളെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും (രണ്ടുപേർ വയലിൽ ഇരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും)” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

There will be those who will say to you, ‘Look, over there!’ or, ‘Look, over here!’ But don’t go out looking for it. As the lightning flashes across the sky and lights it up from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day. But first he must suffer much and be rejected by the people of this day.
As it was in the time of Noah so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man. Everybody kept on eating and drinking, and men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat and the flood came and killed them all. It will be as it was in the time of Lot. Everybody kept on eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. On the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and killed them all.
That is how it will be on the day the Son of Man is revealed. “On that day someone who is on the roof of a house must not go down into the house to get any belongings; in the same way anyone who is out in the field must not go back to the house. Remember Lot’s wife! Those who try to save their own life will lose it; those who lose their life will save it.
On that night, I tell you, there will be two people sleeping in the same bed: one will be taken away, the other will be left behind. Two women will be grinding meal together: one will be taken away, the other will be left behind.”

എങ്കിലും നിൻ്റെ ആദ്യസ്നേഹം വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു ഒരു കുറ്റം നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറവാനുണ്ടു. നീ ഏതിൽനിന്നു വീണിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഓർത്തു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു ആദ്യത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്ക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാൽ ഞാൻ വരികയും നീ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാൽ നിൻ്റെ നിലവിളക്കു അതിൻ്റെ നിലയിൽനിന്നു നീക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. എങ്കിലും നിക്കൊലാവ്യരുടെ നടപ്പു നീ പകെക്കുന്നു എന്നൊരു നന്മ നിനക്കുണ്ടു. അതു ഞാനും പകെക്കുന്നു. ആത്മാവു സഭകളോടു പറയുന്നതു എന്തെന്നു ചെവിയുള്ളവൻ കേൾക്കട്ടെ. ജയിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിൻ്റെ പരദീസയിൽ ഉള്ള ജീവ വൃക്ഷത്തിൻ്റെ ഫലം തിന്മാൻ കൊടുക്കും

എങ്കിലും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു കുറഞ്ഞോരു കുറ്റം പറവാൻ ഉണ്ടു; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ വിഗ്രഹാർപ്പിതം തിന്നേണ്ടതിന്നും ദുർന്നടപ്പു ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇടർച്ചവെപ്പാൻ ബാലാക്കിന്നു ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത ബിലെയാമിൻ്റെ ഉപദേശം പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവർ അവിടെ നിനക്കുണ്ടു. അവ്വണ്ണം നിക്കൊലാവ്യരുടെ ഉപദേശം കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവർ നിനക്കും ഉണ്ടു. ആകയാൽ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാൽ ഞാൻ വേഗത്തിൽ വന്നു എൻ്റെ വായിലെ വാളുകൊണ്ടു അവരോടു പോരാടും. ആത്മാവു സഭകളോടു പറയുന്നതു എന്തെന്നു ചെവിയുള്ളവൻ കേൾക്കട്ടെ. ജയിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഞാൻ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന മന്ന കൊടുക്കും; ഞാൻ അവന്നു വെള്ളക്കല്ലും, ലഭിക്കുന്നവനല്ലാതെ ആരും അറിയാത്തതും ആ കല്ലിന്മേൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ പുതിയ പേരും കൊടുക്കും.

ഞാൻ നിൻ്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും നിൻ്റെ സ്നേഹം, വിശ്വാസം, ശുശ്രൂഷ, സഹിഷ്ണത എന്നിവയും നിൻ്റെ ഒടുവിലത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി ആദ്യത്തേതിലും ഏറെയെന്നും അറിയുന്നു.എങ്കിലും താൻ പ്രവാചകി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ദുർന്നടപ്പു ആചരിപ്പാനും വിഗ്രഹാർപ്പിതം തിന്മാനും എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെ ഉപദേശിക്കയും തെറ്റിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈസബേൽ എന്ന സ്ത്രീയെ നീ അനുവദിക്കുന്നു എന്നൊരു കുറ്റം നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറവാൻ ഉണ്ടു.ഞാൻ അവൾക്കു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുവാൻ സമയം കൊടുത്തിട്ടും ദുർന്നടപ്പുവിട്ടു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുവാൻ അവൾക്കു മനസ്സില്ല. എന്നാൽ ഈ ഉപദേശം കൈക്കൊള്ളാതെയും അവർ പറയുംപോലെ സാത്താൻ്റെ ആഴങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാതെയും തുയഥൈരയിലെ ശേഷം പേരോടു: വേറൊരു ഭാരം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ ചുമത്തുന്നില്ല. എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതു ഞാൻ വരുംവരെ പിടിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ എന്നു ഞാൻ കല്പിക്കുന്നു. ജയിക്കയും ഞാൻ കല്പിച്ച പ്രവൃത്തികളെ അവസാനത്തോളം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു എൻ്റെ പിതാവു എനിക്കു തന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ ജാതികളുടെ മേൽ അധികാരം കൊടുക്കും. അവൻ ഇരിമ്പുകോൽ കൊണ്ടു അവരെ മേയിക്കും; അവർ കുശവൻ്റെ പാത്രങ്ങൾപോലെ നുറുങ്ങിപ്പോകും. ഞാൻ അവന്നു ഉദയനക്ഷത്രവും കൊടുക്കും.

Because you have kept my command to endure, I will also keep you safe from the time of trouble which is coming upon the world to test all the people on earth. I am coming soon. Keep safe what you have, so that no one will rob you of your victory prize. I will make those who are victorious pillars in the temple of my God, and they will never leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which will come down out of heaven from my God. I will also write on them my new name.

ഞാൻ നിൻ്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി അറിയുന്നു; നീ ഉഷ്ണവാനുമല്ല; ശീതവാനുമല്ല; ശീതവാനോ ഉഷ്ണവാനോ ആയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ ശീതവാനുമല്ല ഉഷ്ണവാനുമല്ല, ശിതോഷ്ണവാനാകയാൽ നിന്നെ എൻ്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നു ഉമിണ്ണു കളയും. ഞാൻ ധനവാൻ; സമ്പന്നനായിരിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കു ഒന്നിനും മുട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു നീ നിർഭാഗ്യനും അരിഷ്ടനും ദരിദ്രനും കുരുടനും നഗ്നനും എന്നു അറിയാതിരിക്കയാൽ നീ സമ്പന്നൻ ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു തീയിൽ ഊതിക്കഴിച്ച പൊന്നും നിന്റെ നഗ്നതയുടെ ലജ്ജ വെളിവാകാതവണ്ണം ധരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വെള്ളയുടുപ്പും നിനക്കു കാഴ്ച ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കണ്ണിൽ എഴുതുവാൻ ലേപവും എന്നോടു വിലെക്കുവാങ്ങുവാൻ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ബുദ്ധിപറയുന്നു.എനിക്കു പ്രിയമുള്ളവരെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ ശാസിക്കയും ശിക്ഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; ആകയാൽ നീ ജാഗ്രതയുള്ളവനായിരിക്ക; മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുക. ഞാൻ വാതിൽക്കൽ നിന്നു മുട്ടുന്നു; ആരെങ്കിലും എൻ്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു വാതിൽ തുറന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അവൻ്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടും അവൻ എന്നോടും കൂടെ അത്താഴം കഴിക്കും. ജയിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഞാൻ എന്നോടുകൂടെ എൻ്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിപ്പാൻ വരം നല്കും; ഞാനും ജയിച്ചു എൻ്റെ പിതാവിനോടുകൂടെ അവൻ്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ നേടേണ്ടതിന്നും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള എൻ്റെ സ്വന്ത നീതിയല്ല, ക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കലുള്ള വിശ്വാസംമൂലം ദൈവം വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവർക്കു നൽകുന്ന നീതി തന്നേ ലഭിച്ചു അവനിൽ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും അവൻ്റെ മരണത്തോടു അനുരൂപപ്പെട്ടിട്ടു അവനെയും അവൻ്റെ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിൻ്റെ ശക്തിയെയും അവൻ്റെ കഷ്ടാനുഭവങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടായ്മയെയും അനുഭവിച്ച് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നും ഇങ്ങനെ വല്ലവിധേനയും മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പുനരുത്ഥാനം പ്രാപിക്കേണം എന്നു വെച്ചും ഞാൻ അവൻ്റെ നിമിത്തം എല്ലാം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു ചവറു എന്നു എണ്ണുന്നു.

കർത്താവിൻ്റെ ദിവസമോ കള്ളനെപ്പോലെ വരും. അന്നു ആകാശം കൊടുമ്മുഴക്കത്തോടെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു പോകും; മൂലപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ കത്തിയഴികയും ഭൂമിയും അതിലുള്ള പണികളും വെന്തുപോകയും ചെയ്യും. ഇങ്ങനെ ഇവ ഒക്കെയും അഴിവാനുള്ളതായിരിക്കയാൽ ആകാശം ചുട്ടഴിവാനും മൂലപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ വെന്തുരുകുവാനും ഉള്ള ദൈവദിവസത്തിൻ്റെ വരവു കാത്തിരുന്നും ബദ്ധപ്പെടുത്തിയും കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എത്ര വിശുദ്ധജീവനവും ഭക്തിയും ഉള്ളവർ ആയിരിക്കേണം. എന്നാൽ നാം അവൻ്റെ വാഗ്ദത്തപ്രകാരം നീതി വസിക്കുന്ന പുതിയ ആകാശത്തിന്നും പുതിയ ഭൂമിക്കുമായിട്ടു കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that Day the heavens will disappear with a shrill noise, the heavenly bodies will burn up and be destroyed, and the earth with everything in it will vanish. Since all these things will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people should you be? Your lives should be holy and dedicated to God, as you wait for the Day of God and do your best to make it come soon
the Day when the heavens will burn up and be destroyed, and the heavenly bodies will be melted by the heat. But we wait for what God has promised: new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will be at home.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എന്നു പറയുന്ന സദൂക്യരിൽ ചിലർ അടുത്തു വന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചതു: ഗുരോ, ഒരുത്തൻ്റെ സഹോദരൻ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചിട്ടു മക്കളില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ അവൻ്റെ സഹോദരൻ അവൻ്റെ ഭാര്യയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു(ദേവരവിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു) സഹോദരന്നു സന്തതിയെ ജനിപ്പിക്കേണം എന്നു മോശെ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ഏഴു സഹോദരന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവരിൽ ഒന്നാമത്തവൻ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു മക്കളില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചുപോയി. രണ്ടാമത്തവനും മൂന്നാമത്തവനും അവളെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു. അവ്വണ്ണം ഏഴുപേരും ചെയ്തു മക്കളില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചുപോയി. ഒടുവിൽ സ്ത്രീയും മരിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിൽ അവൾ അവരിൽ ഏവന്നു ഭാര്യയാകും? ഏഴുവർക്കും ഭാര്യയായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ

പിന്നെ അവൻ തൻ്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “നിങ്ങൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ്റെ ഒരു ദിവസം കാണ്മാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും; കാണുകയില്ലതാനും. അന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു: ഇതാ ഇവിടെ എന്നും അതാ അവിടെ എന്നും പറയും; നിങ്ങൾ പോകരുതു, പിൻചെല്ലുകയുമരുതു. മിന്നൽ ആകാശത്തിങ്കീഴെ ദിക്കോടു ദിക്കെല്ലാം തിളങ്ങി മിന്നുന്നതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ തൻ്റെ ദിവസത്തിൽ ആകും. എന്നാൽ ആദ്യം അവൻ വളരെ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കയും ഈ തലമുറ അവനെ തള്ളിക്കളകയും വേണം.
നോഹയുടെ കാലത്തു സംഭവിച്ചതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ്റെ നാളിലും ഉണ്ടാകും. നോഹ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കടന്ന നാൾവരെ അവർ തിന്നും കുടിച്ചും വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചും വിവാഹത്തിന്നു കൊടുത്തും പോന്നു; ജലപ്രളയം വന്നു, അവരെ എല്ലാവരെയും മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു. ലോത്തിൻ്റെ കാലത്തു സംഭവിച്ചതുപോലെയും തന്നേ; അവർ തിന്നും കുടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടും വിറ്റും നട്ടും പണിതും പോന്നു. എന്നാൽ ലോത്ത് സൊദോം വിട്ട നാളിൽ ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു തീയും ഗന്ധകവും പെയ്തു എല്ലാവരെയും മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ വെളിപ്പെടുന്ന നാളിൽ അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ ആകും. അന്നു വീട്ടിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തുള്ള സാധനം എടുപ്പാൻ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു; അവ്വണം വയലിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനും പിന്നോക്കം തിരിയരുതു. ലോത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാര്യയെ ഓർത്തുകൊൾവിൻ. തൻ്റെ ജീവനെ നേടുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം അതിനെ കളയും; അതിനെ കളയുന്നവനെല്ലാം അതിനെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
ആ രാത്രിയിൽ രണ്ടുപേർ ഒരു കിടക്കമേൽ ആയിരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും. രണ്ടുപേർ ഒന്നിച്ചു പൊടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തിയെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവളെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും (രണ്ടുപേർ വയലിൽ ഇരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും)” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

There will be those who will say to you, ‘Look, over there!’ or, ‘Look, over here!’ But don’t go out looking for it. As the lightning flashes across the sky and lights it up from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day. But first he must suffer much and be rejected by the people of this day.
As it was in the time of Noah so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man. Everybody kept on eating and drinking, and men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat and the flood came and killed them all. It will be as it was in the time of Lot. Everybody kept on eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. On the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and killed them all.
That is how it will be on the day the Son of Man is revealed. “On that day someone who is on the roof of a house must not go down into the house to get any belongings; in the same way anyone who is out in the field must not go back to the house. Remember Lot’s wife! Those who try to save their own life will lose it; those who lose their life will save it.
On that night, I tell you, there will be two people sleeping in the same bed: one will be taken away, the other will be left behind. Two women will be grinding meal together: one will be taken away, the other will be left behind.”

കർത്താവിൻ്റെ ദിവസമോ കള്ളനെപ്പോലെ വരും. അന്നു ആകാശം കൊടുമ്മുഴക്കത്തോടെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു പോകും; മൂലപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ കത്തിയഴികയും ഭൂമിയും അതിലുള്ള പണികളും വെന്തുപോകയും ചെയ്യും. ഇങ്ങനെ ഇവ ഒക്കെയും അഴിവാനുള്ളതായിരിക്കയാൽ ആകാശം ചുട്ടഴിവാനും മൂലപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ വെന്തുരുകുവാനും ഉള്ള ദൈവദിവസത്തിൻ്റെ വരവു കാത്തിരുന്നും ബദ്ധപ്പെടുത്തിയും കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എത്ര വിശുദ്ധജീവനവും ഭക്തിയും ഉള്ളവർ ആയിരിക്കേണം. എന്നാൽ നാം അവൻ്റെ വാഗ്ദത്തപ്രകാരം നീതി വസിക്കുന്ന പുതിയ ആകാശത്തിന്നും പുതിയ ഭൂമിക്കുമായിട്ടു കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ദൈവത്തിൻ്റെ എരിവോടെ എരിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തു എന്ന ഏകപുരുഷന്നു നിങ്ങളെ നിർമ്മലകന്യകയായി ഏല്പിപ്പാൻ വിവാഹനിശ്ചയം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ സർപ്പം ഹവ്വയെ ഉപായത്താൽ ചതിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സു ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുള്ള ഏകാഗ്രതയും നിർമ്മലതയും വിട്ടു വഷളായിപ്പോകുമോ എന്നു ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു.

അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ നിനെക്കാത്ത നാഴികയിൽ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ വരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളും ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിപ്പിൻ. എന്നാൽ യജമാനൻ തൻ്റെ വീട്ടുകാർക്കു തത്സമയത്തു ഭക്ഷണം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ മേൽ ആക്കിവെച്ച വിശ്വസ്തനും ബുദ്ധിമാനും ആയ ദാസൻ ആർ? യജമാനൻ വരുമ്പോൾ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു കാണുന്ന ദാസൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ. അവൻ അവനെ തനിക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിന്മേലും യജമാനൻ ആക്കിവെക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

ആ താലന്തു അവൻ്റെ പക്കൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു പത്തു താലന്തു ഉള്ളവന്നു കൊടുപ്പിൻ. അങ്ങനെ ഉള്ളവന്നു ഏവന്നും ലഭിക്കും; അവന്നു സമൃദ്ധിയും ഉണ്ടാകും; ഇല്ലാത്തവനോടോ ഉള്ളതും കൂടെ എടുത്തുകളയും. എന്നാൽ കൊള്ളരുതാത്ത ദാസനെ ഏറ്റവും പുറത്തുള്ള ഇരുട്ടിലേക്കു തള്ളിക്കളവിൻ; അവിടെ കരച്ചലും പല്ലുകടിയും ഉണ്ടാകും.

Those who obey their human nature cannot please God. But you do not live as your human nature tells you to; instead, you live as the Spirit tells you to—if, in fact, God’s Spirit lives in you. Whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ lives in you, the Spirit is life for you because you have been put right with God, even though your bodies are going to die because of sin. If the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from death, lives in you, then he who raised Christ from death will also give life to your mortal bodies by the presence of his Spirit in you.

നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം അതിഭക്ഷണത്താലും മദ്യപാനത്താലും ഉപജീവനചിന്തകളാലും ഭാരപ്പെട്ടിട്ടു ആ ദിവസം നിങ്ങൾക്കു പെട്ടെന്നു കണിപോലെ വരാതിരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു കൊൾവിൻ. അതു സർവ്വഭൂതലത്തിലും വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവർക്കും വരും. ആകയാൽ ഈ സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും ഒഴിഞ്ഞു പോകുവാനും മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്പാനും നിങ്ങൾ പ്രാപ്തരാകേണ്ടതിന്നു സദാകാലവും ഉണർന്നും പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടിരിപ്പിൻ.
